The two tabloid fixtures became close while working together on the upcoming Scary Movie 5. Among the things they talked about on and off the set? The money she owes to the IRS. Sheen had offered to help Lohan out financially a few months back, but she refused at the time. However, Lohan's business manager allegedly received a check from the ex-Two and a Half Men star last week.

Lohan immediately applied Sheen's generous gift to her tax bill. Reports first surfaced in January that Lohan owed money to the government for unpaid taxes in 2009 and 2010.

Sheen and Lohan's on-screen collaboration, Scary Movie 5, is set to hit theaters in April.
