Buzz Aldrin, wife finalize divorce

Buzz Aldrin, one of the first men to walk on the moon, has finalized his divorce from his wife of 23 years, according to TMZ.

Aldrin and his third wife, Lois Driggs Cannon, initially filed papers with the Los Angeles Superior Court in June 2011, citing irreconcilable differences, but have been embroiled in bitter settlement talks. According to documents signed on Dec. 28, Cannon will receive 50 percent of Aldrin's bank account and 50 percent of the profits from his businesses, trademarks and stocks. Aldrin will also pay Cannon $9,500 a month in spousal support and 30 percent of his annual income.

Aldrin and Cannon wed on Valentine's Day of 1988. They have no children.
