Bring It On star Natina Reed dead at 32

Natina Reed has passed away at the age of 32, E! News reports.

The Bring It On actress and R&B singer was struck by a car in Gwinnett, Ga., at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Friday night. She was pronounced dead at 10:59 p.m., two days before her 33rd birthday. She is survived by a 10-year-old son, Tren Brown.

"Preliminary information indicates that Reed was in the roadway on Lawrenceville Highway near Hamilton Road when struck," the press release states. "Though the investigation is ongoing, the release states that the driver "was determined to be not at fault and there are no charges pending." 

In addition to her role as a Clover cheerleader in Bring It On, Reed was also a member of the singing group Blaque. The group achieved fame for their hits "808" and "Bring It All To Me."

Many celebrities shared their condolences on Twitter. "man. in eerie Left Eye fashion....rip to Blaque's Natina Reed," Questlove wrote, referencing Reed's mentor, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, who passed away in a car accident in 2002.

"Last night the world was changed forever, life will never be the same....she was my sister," shared her fellow Blaque member Brandi Williams.Reed's Bring It On co-star Gabrielle Union, simple posted: "#Rip #Sad #BringItOn"
