Bill Clinton photobombs Kelly Clarkson at inauguration

By Liz Raftery,

Monday was President Barack Obama's Inauguration Day -- but at one moment during the ceremony, it was President Bill Clinton who inadvertently stole the spotlight.

Clinton unknowingly photobombed Kelly Clarkson, who was singing "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" shortly before Obama took the oath of office, in a photo that was captured on televised broadcasts of the event and later circulated around Twitter.

The American Idol winner said via Twitter that she was "incredibly nervous and cold" during the performance, but honored to be a part of the historic occasion nonetheless.

"What an honor to be a part of history!" she tweeted. "Obama's presence was powerful and his words unforgettable. It's a proud day for America!"

Though Clarkson didn't address the Clinton photo, she posted another presidential snapshot on her Twitter account -- only this one was intentional.

"Maybe the coolest photo I've ever been in ....ever :)" she captioned a photograph of herself shaking Obama's hand.

In addition to Clarkson, Beyonce and James Taylor also performed at the Inauguration.
