Ashton Kutcher files for divorce from Demi Moore

Ashton Kutcher filed for divorce from Demi Moore on Friday, TMZ reports.

Kutcher, 34, cited irreconcilable differences in the paperwork, filed in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Kutcher and Moore, 50, separated more than a year ago -- so why the wait?

According to the site, Kutcher has been waiting for Moore to file since last November. When Moore failed to take action, Kutcher filed himself.

The couple married in September 2005 and have no children together. This was Kutcher's first marriage and the third for Moore, who has three children with ex-husband Bruce Willis.
