NEW YORK (AP) - Hopes that the Federal Reserve will do more to support the U.S. economy drove oil to its biggest gain in two months on Thursday.
On the New York Mercantile Exchange:
Benchmark crude rose $1.29 cents to finish at $83.91 per barrel.
Gasoline gained 2.1 cents to end at $2.6764 a gallon.
Heating oil increased 1.69 cents to finish at $2.6278 a gallon.
Natural gas jumped 31 cents to end at $2.495 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange in London:
Brent crude rose 45 cents to finish at $97.17 per barrel.
