SOME DON'T LIKE IT HOT: Corn prices jumped again, hitting their highest level since last August. Traders are worried about hot, dry weather in the Midwest, which is shrinking the crop supply.
NUCLEAR TENSION: The price of oil climbed for the third day in a row, pushed higher by worries that tension over Iran's nuclear program will crimp supply.
METALS RISE: Prices for copper, platinum, palladium, silver and gold all rose.
