(MYFOX NATIONAL) - Police in Colorado are investigating a report that a Denver police officer flashed a gun and his badge at an employee at a McDonald's drive-through window.
The report says at about 3:20 in the morning on May 21, two off-duty Denver police officers pulled up to the drive-through window.
Workers at the McDonald's say one of the officers became agitated that no one was taking his order fast enough.
The officer allegedly told the McDonald's employee that he was a cop and showed the employee his gun.
Aurora, Colo., police aren't commenting except to say they are investigating the case as an alleged felony menacing.
Once the district attorney gets the case, a decision will be made whether there's enough evidence to file an arrest warrant and whether any charges will be filed against the officer.
Police have not released the officer's name.
