Kennedy Relative Flips Off Crowd?

(MYFOX NATIONAL) - While the Kennedy family mourned Sen. Ted Kennedy's passing on Thursday, one family member appeared to make an obscene gesture to the crowd that lined the streets as a motorcade brought the senator's body to Boston.

A photographer for FOX 25 in Boston seemingly caught 21-year-old Rose Schlossberg, the daughter of Caroline Kennedy Schlossberg, giving the finger to someone off camera as she rode in a limousine.

FOX 25 reporter Mike Beaudet wrote on his blog , "Our photographer was not close enough to know what happened to prompt Rose to do this, but it looks like she was responding to someone in the crowd. Who knows what rude comment she might have heard? In the video you can see someone nudge her right after it happens. Funerals are stressful for every family. When you live under the glare of the spotlight like the Kennedys, perhaps this funeral is even more stressful. But what was JFK's granddaughter thinking? Cameras are always rolling when the Kennedys are around, especially when there’s a procession for Great Uncle Ted and tens of thousands of people turn out. What do you think? Viewers responded with disdain. "Absolutely inappropriate gesture on a solemn day. Correct me if I'm wrong, but yesterday was supposed to be about thanking Ted, no? I guess that feedback about the next generation of Kennedys being the greatest just might be a bit overly hopeful, if this young woman's any measure of their potential greatness," wrote Dr_Hex . Schlossberg has gotten some media attention for what might be less-than-model behavior. In 2006 Wonkette.com posted photos of Schlossberg sitting in front of a hookah and holding what appears to be a wine bottle. The photos reportedly appeared on her Facebook page.
